I’m back to knitting after more than 20 years of break - last time I knitted was for my “home economics” classes (do they teach this in school…anywhere?). I had a look at several books about knitting (”…for Dummies”, “the complete idiot’s…”, “teach yourself…”) and decided to start with a model of average difficulty - a garter stich (favourite!) and simple cables scarf (this way I reminded myself the most important stiches). My aim is to able to knit great socks and gloves one day, soon…
